Initial Welcome and March Meeting

Welcome to the new Monroe County Quilt Guild blog.

The March 10, 2016 guild meeting was happy to welcome Chris Forman who shared her wonderful Gift Bag's.  No-- not the kind of gift bag you are thinking about.  Chris developed a pattern for a simple bag to use to to present gifts.

 Some were made of panels
Others made from favorite fabrics.  Don't you just love the chalkboard looking bag?

What quilter wouldn't love a bag with scissors?  The bags can be put together in a couple of hours and have two pockets on the outside, and can have many pockets on the inside.

Thank you Chris for the wonderful presentation.
